Catch A Falling Star is a lovely jazz standard that sounds great on ukulele:

La Bamba is a fun Mexican folk song whose riffs and backup make for a lively ukulele performance:

Octapus’s Garden is a Beatles tune written by George Harrison whose guitar solo and backup works well on ukulele:

Riptide is a quirky pop tune written by Vance Joy that he performs on ukulele and is indicative of the instrument’s recent popularity today. My backup and solo ukulele parts are here:

Sweet Potatoes is a Creole folk song. Mine derives from Pete Seeger’s version:

The Lion Sleeps Tonight is an African folk song that was featured in The Lion King movie. Here’s my ukulele version with solos and backup, as well as a 2-part singing arrangement on the chorus:

Thunder by Imagine Dragons is another easy pop song to perform on ukulele. This version includes body percussion, lead and backup ukulele, and singing:

Upside Down by Jack Johnson appeared in the Curious George movie. Both backup and instrumental riffs for this tune work well on ukulele:

Wake Me Up is a hypnotic pop tune by Avicci that lends itself to the cool ukulele riff and an interesting “clawhammer” style backup pattern outlined here:

Yellow Submarine is another Beatles tune written by George Harrison. I’ve converted the horn solo in the end of Verse 3 into a ukulele solo. Simpler chords are used to back up the first couple verses, and a more interesting but difficult progression is provided for the remaining verses.
